Photo shoot

I am about to do a photo shoot for my college magazine anyone interested in this should contact me. I am looking for happy pictures around the college to show the up beat side of college. I will take about 15 to 20 photos so then i can pick the best ones for the front cover. I would also like some pictures of sport and of the nightlife around college.

Questionnaire analysis

I have looked at all of my questions that people have filled out for me. I posted the questionnaire on my blog and also printed some out for people to fill in. I have decided that the magazine will be called The College Times. The age group that my magazine will be aimed at is 16-20 year olds and i will be mainly aiming towards boys. I have been told that this magazine should be a monthly magazine and it should contain updates on the life in college, sports notifications and up and coming events to do with the nightlife in the area. My magazine will contain pictures which i will take very soon, and there will be links to helpful websites. The price of the magazine is at a very cheap £1.50.

Action Plan

For my prelim task i have been asked to create a Student magazine to do this i have come up with an action plan on what i am needing to do in the next few weeks.
Week 1-15th November
Set up blog.
Decide on name of my magazine.
Audience questionaire on what people want in a magazine.
Do a textual analysis of magazines.

Week 2- 22nd November
I will take photos for my magazine.
Edit the photos.
Then I will create a front cover and draft.

Week 3- 29th November
I will create my content and draft.
Then get audience feedback.

Week 4- 6th December
Do an evaluation of my magazine.
Tweaking and finishing off my magazine.
